Did you ever calculate how many throw away bags you use? I did a quick estimate. I have a large household...4 grandkids all school age...all take their lunch to school...1 bag for a sandwich...1 bag for a snack...1 bag for fruit,..so 12 bags a day. Multiply that by the 180 school days in a year and you get 2160 bags used just for school lunches. And you know they are being used for more than that...snacks after dance class, snacks after hockey. You get the picture.
So I am done with filling up landfills and throwing away money. Switched the kids to these snack bags and they love them. The kids bags are made in fabric that they like (but have made them in adult fabrics also...for your lunches and snacks). The inside is made if a rip cord fabric. Rip cord fabric can be wiped clean with a sponge and does not leak...important for jelly or mayo overflows!. They have a velcro closure that is easy for anyone to open and close. Totally washable and dryable!
As stated I have made these in a variety of prints, boys, girls, everybody and I can make them in other prints if you have a specific color or theme in mind. I cannot make them in a licensed fabric though...not legal for me to do so...so please no requests for specific sport teams, characters, etc.
Have a little one starting Kindergarten? Make up a "Welcome to School" package. Fill a backpack with crayons, pencils, etc..add a lunch box with a couple fo these bags tucked inside.
